Around the world, May 1st is a poignant date, albeit admittedly not always for the same reasons: for aviation enthusiast, for instance, it marks the traditional aerobatic season-opener by the Frecce Tricolori, who kick off their season on the home turf.A tradition that was sadly interrupted by the COVID emergency, but that will luckily resume in 2022, as if to undescore the pandemic grim peak’s overcoming.In just a few hours, I will again be standing close to the runway to capture this doubly symbolic event simbolico, and I can’t hide how thrilled I am!Looking forward to sharing the photoreport for the 2022 edition, let’s take a look at some shots from the 2019 edition!
