I’m an avid defense, sports and live music enthusiast, now happily back to my own first love for photography after a successful career in multinational sales marketing.
While no subject is beyond my lens, I mostly shoot and write about military aircraft, that I “hunt down” at airshows, airbases and museums around the world, and my pictures have been published in print in JP4 Aeronautica, Rivista Aeronautica, Aeronautica and online on ARES Osservatorio Difesa. I also collaborate with Giorgio Ciarini and with Gli Archivi Ritrovati as translator and author.
I have a thing for sports and motorsports. I have progressively added rugby and baseball and motorsports – from motocross to spectacular drag racing – to my original passion for football (the American kind, mind you!).
Where would we be without music? Il like listening to it, but I like shooting it even more! What a feeling, when I get to portray the artists I have always loved – and the ones I learn to love as I discover them!
But what really hits it form me is when I manage to include both action and portrait in the same shot, capturing the essence of the people absorbed in the activities I shoot: eassier said than done, but what a gas, when you get the right rapport flowing!
